Calling all Christmas celebration organisers who are looking for a venue for a festive works, friends or family meal this year (2017). We’re now taking bookings!
We’ve officially launched our festive party menu this month including a full vegetarian option.
We’ve focused on Westcountry-sourced ingredients wherever possible with our Christmas Menu and as we make everything on-site too, our dishes are super fresh and tasty. We’re offering two or three-course options including a vegetarian menu this year.
We’re taking daily bookings until December 23, excluding Sunday lunches. Our menu features the very best Westcountry produce such as a pulled pork fritter made from pork from Oakford Farm, Salcombe crab, Exmoor lamb shank and Creedy Carver duck. There’s a choice of desserts including our very own Christmas pudding.
We try to plan a diverse and palate-pleasing menu each year featuring some firm favourites and other options too. We pride ourselves on the quality of the produce we use. A lot of it comes from businesses nearby, so we’re giving Westcountry suppliers a well-deserved boost and by dining with us you will be too.
We’re open throughout the week, serving seasonal dishes with ingredients sourced from nearby. We serve lunches and dinners daily, except Monday and the third Sunday evening each month. We also have lovely B&B rooms that are cosy and comfortable. For festive menu bookers, we’re happy to offer a special discounted B&B rate of £75 for a double room for two people sharing. The rooms are available on a first come, first served basis and there’s no choice regarding allocation.
We can also take bookings for parties up to a maximum of 40 people. Parties with more than 12 guests will be seated on more than one table, but close together. We will always try to accommodate special requests too, so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements well in advance and we can assist.
To add to all this, we have a private room upstairs for parties of up to 20 people, although we think 16 is an ideal number for comfort.
As its party season, cabs will be in short supply, so we recommend that you pre-order yours. If you need help, just give us a call.
Booking is essential and our Christmas Menu costs £21.50 per person for a two-course meal or £24.95 for three-courses including coffee. A vegetarian two-course menu is £18.50 or £21.95 per person for three-courses, both with coffee.
